Off to Missouri!

« on: November 08, 2012, 03:21:44 PM »

I'm putting a deposit down on two Kinder does!!  Well actually I think I'm going to trade one of my Fodder systems for part of the deposit, but anyway...  I'm picking them up in the summer after the older doe's kids are weaned.  Wow!  That means I better get busy on the fencing!

Lollipop (henceforth known as Peasblossom  Wink) is a four year old registered doe who will come to me in milk.  She gives about 3/4 of a gallon a day which is just perfect for me.  Sugar Cube (henceforth known as Cobweb - are you seeing the Shakespeare influence here?), is this years doeling, also registered.  She will come to me bred so I can stagger my milk supply.  I can't remember what generation they are, but I'm not terribly interested in papers anyway.

The lady I'm buying them from will provide buck services, which is very important since I live in the middle of town.  She'll either take kids in trade or charge $50 for services, provided I have a CAE test done before I bring them out.

All in all, I'm tickled!!   :grnstrs:

DragonLair Farm and Kennel in Central Maine with Nubians, Lamanchas and Oberhasli. Of course, combinations of 2 or more breeds happens also.
