Well our kidding season has gone well. Our first doeling that was born on our farm delivered a single Black Agouti 2lb 4 oz Doeling on thursday. She did great and was only in hard labor for 45 minutes. That is rare for a first time Pygmy.  She was a bottle baby so i struggled a bit getting her to let the kid nurse. She was scared and only wanted to lay in my lap to deliver.  She got the ball rolling and is doing well now. On Friday My next first birth Nigerian gave birth to twin Doelings 3lb 2oz each. Fast birth less then an hour in labor. An hour after her i had another first time Pygmy birth a 4lb Med Caramel Doeling. She is beautiful and strong. A higher birth weight really makes a dirrerence.  Last night we had one of our second year Pygmys  Does birth Twin Light Caramel  Doelings 4lb each. We still have 4 more to deliver  2 more first timers and two second year does. That will complete all of my farm stock then i only have to deal with the non farm stock.  I can't believe we have not thrown a buckling yet. I will post some pics as soon as i get a chance.

And just for kicks the last pick is of my biggest baby Mira Jane.  She is just so large i am expecting 3 maybe four from her. I can see the look in her eyes she is telling me off. "Get these things out of me"

The doe Daisy May is the Chocolate doe that i had so many problems with delivering last year. I don't have a pic of her yet but i will post it as soon as i get one. She is doing great this year and everything look great. She is larger then Mira Jane. I am keeping my fingers crossed that our girls do good. Daisy deserves to be a mother this year. If you can believe it i swear Daisy went into depression after she lost her three kids during delivery last year. I thought i was going to loose her.
