  I am so excited.

I have been contacted by a very highly rated and saute after judge ins the Cashmere world.

I was asked if I could help judge the Estes Park Wool Market (one we received Best in show last year and the year before), and help judge the Vermont State Fair in late September and they invited me to come to a judges workshop that ECA (Eastern Cashmere Association) is putting on in latere November sometime.  She said that is a invite workshop only, and they would like me to become a certified Cashmere judge.   run chickendance Dancing Banana Happy

I am so excited I can barely hold it in.

  Thank you all.

I am so excited.  I have wanted to be a judge for sometime, but I was always showing.

But to be asked by these people, that is just so exciting, they are some of the top judges.

taelir, you will have to go to the Extention agent and your Goat Superintendent to try to get it in your County.  The best way for it to help is have a head count on the number of kids that would d the project.
Our County only has three kids left in our project.  I stepped down as the leader because I was so tired of all the C*&# that goes on at our County and some of the people.  It is ALL about the market projects and that is all.  SO I don't see it lasting past this year, MAYBE two.  Kind of sad. When I stepped down we lost 4 kids.

Oh yeah, I've pushed on our extension agent a bit. I've been told the decision has to come from the state level before the county will do it. Boo on that!

I think you need to bring some east coast cashmeres back this way after judging in Vermont! LOL

Really from the State?  It is amazing how different all the states are with 4H.  Ours has nothing at all to so with the State level, it is what each county wants or needs.  It sis up to the extension agent at each county
