the castration of Oreo was probably done wrong and proud cut him, meaning they left him with his will to want to, but he was sterile...that I don't like happening.

Cookie was banded at the right age to prevent U.C from happening...but there are numerous male goats that have had it with no reason for it...it's just something these boys are prone to having...not all will have it but they all stand at risk for it.  I just hate that sickness, as it's usually a death sentence when they do get it.  I'm sorry for your Loss.

Yep, you need to get that buck out of there as soon as possible...she's going to give off that false heat cycle scent and he's gonna try to breed her and he could really harm her badly and/or even kill the kids.  You don't want him around when she kids either...he'll torment her to death trying to breed her.
