Ok gals, this ole 99.9% Boer gal, just gave me 2 big guys at 6:AM, this morning, and now I can relax.  She only had two this time, as I had Vet to come by and check.  She looked like the other times she had 3.  I use a lot more Alfalfa pellets this time, and I think it is the way to go for me.  I had no trouble with her this time at all.  I did have to help the 2nd guy coming out, as she was busy cleaning first born.  I can see if they come fast, and no one there to help, you can lose a nice kid.  I used a baby, nasal syringe for clearing the nasal passage, and did the swinging to throw out fluids , to help him start to breathe.  One of he males will be hard to wean, as he was after the teat, as soon as he hit the ground.  Yehaw

DragonLair Farm and Kennel in Central Maine with Nubians, Lamanchas and Oberhasli. Of course, combinations of 2 or more breeds happens also.
